Darius Brubeck Quartet
Darius Brubeck, pianist, composer and Fulbright Professor of Jazz Studies, grew up in California and Connecticut. The 1970s were spent exploring music ranging from R&B and Folk to avant-garde Jazz, touring the world with his famous father and brothers.
The Darius Brubeck Quartet will perform a set of Darius’s original compositions mixed with jazz standards and interpretations of his father Dave Brubeck’s music. Darius is joined by Dave O’Higgins on saxophone, Matt Ridley on double bass and drummer Wes Gibbens.
